We bought a bunkbed and trundle set about 3 years ago. It has not held up AT ALL. So disappointed in the quality of this set. Even when it was first delivered and set up, not all the screws went in tightly, some were stripped and just spun (as we watched it being put together). We mentioned it, but were told they weren't an important part. The ladder to the top bunk was removable, which we liked so that we could move it out of the way when our baby and toddler would not stay away from it. We didn't want them on the top bunk, so we would remove the ladder when necessary. Unfortunately, it did not fit properly and the brackets began to dig into the wood of the bed, seriously damaging it, and then one of the brackets fell off. Someone from the store came out at our request to assess the damage, and their fix was to permanently attach the ladder to the bed, which is NOT why we bought the bed. We didn't use the trundle for the first year, because our son was not old enough for it. The mattress that the store sold to us for it is a piece of junk, it is not really a mattress, but a large piece of foam, covered in a thin, easily tearable fabric. When our son began sleeping on it, several of the slats broke easily. We do not allow our children to jump on couches or beds, but children are still children and a bit energetic and sometimes a little bouncy (again, no jumping)- one would expect a well made bed, that we paid almost $1000 for would be able to withstand a young (3 years old) child's energy, but that is how the first slat broke. Several others broke after that, just from the kids getting in and out of bed. This morning, the main piece of wood holding up the slats for the trundle completely broke in half, and the trundle is now unusable and needs to be trashed. For the past year, we have not used these beds put together as a bunk. They are separate now, because they are not safe as a bunk. The top part of the bunk has large pieces that have come off, and as my daughter was on her bed with her cousins a few weeks ago, one of the slats holding the mattress up broke. My 3 kids that were using these beds are going to be sleeping on the floor now for safety reasons. We have never had furniture break or fall apart like these have. I fully expected them to last through my children's childhood, as quality furniture should. If you are looking for SAFE, quality furniture for your children, I would not look at Magnolia Furniture. Complete waste of $1000.
Nice people good service
My family and I came in looking for a very specific couch. Ended up with a different set but, it was exactly what we needed. Ms. Frances was the most helpful salesperson I've ever met. They have the ability to order whatever we needed and made it happen. Will return for sure!!
Nice family atmosphere
We personally made 3 visits. The first to look, the second to finally decide, and the third to place our order. We were greeted with open arms each and every time, also offered drinks and cookies. My 5 year old daughter loved it. We visited other furniture store and no one compares to Magnolia Furniture. We placed an order from another store for something completely different and received the other store's order almost two weeks after Magnolia Furniture's order. May I mention we placed the order with Magnolia 1 week after the other store. Will be back in the future and recommend to everyone I know!
